DadFit is a group created to give men a way to improve their physical AND spiritual health, enabling them to become more godly husbands, dads, and men. [Note: You do not have to be a dad to join DadFit!]

We meet every Saturday behind Irmo High School (take Emory Lane) at 8:15 am until around ~9:30 am.

  • Physical training: Workout starts at 8:30 am sharp and includes a strength training segment of ~15-20 minutes followed by some sort of sport, ultimate frisbee, razzle dazzle football, basketball, etc. See Battle Plan for during the week workout recommendations.
  • Spiritual training: Begins right after workout. We discuss what we are currently reading in the Bible or other Christian book focusing on how we can become more godly husbands, fathers, and men. See Battle Plan page for what we are currently reading.

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it. This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers. — 1 Timothy 4:8-10 (NLT)
